Welcome to my newly published web site (Thanksgiving 2012). This is my first attempt at any kind of marketing, other than the occasional word of mouth, so I’m initially keeping it pretty simple. As I delve further into the process, I will be adding a blog, a Facebook link, and an option for prints on canvas, just to name a few. I intend to have purchasing capability from the large image pages of the galleries, but, as for now, I’m trying to work out that bug. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have or suggestions for improvements, through my ‘contact page’ or call me at (360) 896-8229.

I am a family man, outdoor enthusiast, and self-taught photographer based in Southwest Washington. I have been married to my wonderful and very supportive wife for 21 years and we have two amazing daughters who are both attending college in the state of Washington. I love camping, hiking, backpacking, fishing, and the occasional mountain climbing trip, which has led me to the summit of a few volcanic peaks of the Cascade Range.

My passion for nature and love of photography united in my early teenage years while growing up in Northern California. Frequent trips to visit grandparents in Solano County and the Lake Tahoe area, with occasional trips to Kansas helped to build a strong foundation for travel and a love for the ‘open road’. Hiking and backpacking in the Sierra Nevadas fueled my passion even more for the great outdoors and spurred my desire to share what I experienced with others.

“Sometimes, with preparation and determination, photographers can capture wonderful light illuminating a beautiful scene, while, with pure passion we can evoke feeling and emotion within an image.” - Roger Pace

My wife and I moved to The Great Pacific Northwest and started a family in the early 90’s, and I was very excited by the notion of having a whole new playground to explore. I have concentrated most of my photographic efforts close to home, but I have been able to travel much of the West, Southwest and The Everglades, which is reflected in my galleries.

I hope you enjoy the artwork and please add my site to your favorites, as I will be constantly adding new images to the galleries. In fact, in the near future, I think I will add a new gallery specifically for new additions to the site.
